We'd heartily like to thank Pacific West Bank for caring about and sponsoring this important series and benefit event -
as well as our Media sponsor "Lake Oswego Review" and Noted sponsor "Ed Buchman/Realty Trust Group"
It is said that the arts define humanity. With that mindset we are proud to put the "Spotlight"
on 42 Lake Oswego "Student Artists" over a 14 week period in the Lake Oswego Review.
Lake Oswego students of all ages (K - 12) with artistic talent in visual or performance arts are eligible.
Students selected to appear in the weekly Pacific West Bank "Student Artist Spotlight"
will have a photograph and short description of their talents printed in The Lake Oswego Review.
Teachers, administrators, art professionals or educators wanting to nominate
a "Talented Artistic Student", please fill out this short "Student Artist Spotlight" form.
In addition, on Thursday, May 13th, at the LOHS auditorium all 42 students will be invited
to showcase their talents at the Pacific West Bank "LO's Got Talent Showcase & Gallery."
Each performance art student will be featured on stage and each visual art student will get to
display their work in the student artist gallery for friends, family and the community to admire and enjoy.
All showcase/gallery admission proceeds ($5/students, $10/adults, $20/family)
at the May 13th event (6pm Art Gallery, 7pm Performances) will go to the LOSD Foundation.
The foundation is a key ingredient in our district and each student's educational success.
Please save the date, May 13th, to join us as we celebrate our students' artistic excellence
and help the LOSD Foundation continue its mission.
Oh, and bring your checkbook. We'll have a few live auction items you won't want to miss.
